About Higher Heights Fitness



Nestled in the heart of downtown Lakewood, on Detroit Road just west of Warren Road, the Higher Heights Fitness studio offers three stories of dedicated training space and all-new, high-tech equipment, with an open concept perfect for either one-on-one trainer-led sessions, or trainer-planned, self-directed workouts.

One on One Training

Without distractions, the sessions focus solely on the client and trainer. After the initial assessment, measurements and body stats are taken on our InBody 270 scanner and reviewed after every 6-8 weeks of training to make sure progress is being made. Motivation and accountability inform every movement, every workout.

Small Group Classes

To mix things up, our small group classes cater to a rigorous boot-camp style with HIIT movements. Members cycle through different rotations of the same workout. People get to know other members in their group and cheer each other on in a fun and competitive setting.

Open Hours

Members can book 30- to 60-minute appointments to come to the studio and workout on their own without a trainer. They have access to all strength and cardio equipment available within the open concept training studio. Whether you’re exercising with or without a trainer, appointments are made through the Higher Heights app, to avoid overcrowding.

Sports Training

We work with several elite high school athletes and train whole teams as well. All of our trainers at one time or another have worked with high school, college or professional athletes to help them reach the highest level possible within their sport.

Physical Therapy

Doctor of Physical Therapy Aidan Simenc is passionate about helping others reach their physical potential and not be inhibited by pain. He offers a range of modalities, including functional dry needling, cupping, soft tissue massage, correction exercises and injury rehab.

Nutrition program

Our team of trainers and nutrition specialists is committed to helping you achieve a transformative and sustainable healthy life following these four fundamentals: initial assessment, education, healthy alternatives and accountability. Through 45-minute weekly or bi-weekly sessions with a nutrition coach, we can change the way you think about what you eat. Together we’ll come up with the optimal amounts of macronutrients (fats, proteins, carbs) to achieve the best results. We’ll also offer a host of healthy swaps, so people don’t have to abandon foods they love. Our goal is to create a realistic eating plan people can stick with for a lifetime. This program is not “dieting.”

Hi there! Have some questions about our studio? Find the answers below. 

  • If I join, can I come anytime you are open?

    No. Workouts are by appointment only. You can make appointments conveniently online.

  • Can I workout with just one trainer, or any trainer on your team?

    Since you do your own scheduling, you can follow whichever path suits your training the best, whether that’s sticking with the same trainer for all your workouts, or rotating with different trainers.

  • If I work out with several trainers, how does he or she know what my goals are?

    Each client’s health history, listing of past injuries, medical information and goals are accessible by the trainers leading your workouts.

  • How will I know if I’m getting results?

    Every 6-8 weeks, the trainers do a reassessment, monitoring your weight, measurements, body fat, water weight, muscle mass and fitness levels to make sure you are achieving your goals.

  • What are your hours and how long are the workouts?

    You can schedule a 45-minute workout online anytime we are open, and your trainer is available. Hours are Mondays through Fridays, 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays, 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.
